“Teghout Support” Civic Initiative has qualified suing environmental activist Yeghia Nersisyan as terrorism. The statement circulated by the initiative says, “Under our assessment, environmental activist Yeghia Nersisyan’s prosecution by Canadian “Deno Gold Mining Company” is qualified as terrorism.
The foreign companies registered in different offshore zones together with local corrupted officials overtly grab the soil of Armenia “as prescribed by law”, exploit the population through mechanisms characteristic to slavery by firing them and threatening to keep silence and put up with everything.
The prosecution against Yeghia Nersisyan is nothing else but a terrorist act implemented by a Canadian company packaged with legal terms. We can conclude from this case that to avoid prosecutions by private companies developing our soil the issue of nationalization of natural resources is an urgent priority.
“Teghout Support” Civic Initiative states that it will pursue one of the foreign developers, “Deno Gold Mining Company” to detect all the “garbage” and to start legal proceedings against the company.”
