Events Held in Armenia on World Environment Day

Nature Protection Ministry of Armenia held a number of events on World Environment Day in specially protected areas in different regions of Armenia.

Together with community residents territory cleaning events were held in “Sevan” National Park and territories adjacent to Zikatar Village on the initiative of “Zikatar Environmental Center” SNCO and “Shikahogh” State Reserve located next to Shikahogh Village, Syunik Region. Together with the UN office the territory round the spring was improved in “Arevik” National Park, Syunik Region. “Dilijan National Park” SNCO employees together with Dilijan Aarhus Center activists cleaned the pavilions located in the territory of Vanadzor and Haghartsin , as well as they cleaned the bank rivers. On the initiative of “Reserve Park Complex” eco-educational meetings were held with the pupils and students in Yerevan. Photo exhibition on environmental topic was held in “Arpi Litch” National Park, Shirak Region.
