As Yerevan Municipality Information and Public Relations Department informs the green area in Yerevan will make up 850 ha, out of which 188 ha will be parks and gardens in Yerevan. Under this source, 40,000 trees were planted in the capital for 2013 and another 700 trees will be planted in the autumn, 12,000 rose bushes and 700,000 flower seedlings were planted in 6.2 ha of flower territory and 1,300,000 will be planted. The meadows in Yerevan will be complemented up to 12 ha.
