The Armenian scientists made a new invention, how to spread cumulonimbus clouds. Fifteen-member staff of “Ecoserve” LLC research center has made a prototype of a special device – eye for acoustic cannon. “The device will detect hail and cumulonimbus clouds without human intervention and will operate the cannon, as the invention author Professor Artashes Araqelyan, Dr. in Physical and Mathematical Sciences, told EcoLur. Though the device hasn’t been experimented yet, but Araqelyan is sure of its success.” He mentioned that the device can be placed both in large and small land areas, it’s rather inexpensive and will approximately cost 500,000 AMD.
Under Artashes Araqelyan, the idea of the device was submitted to the Intellectual Property Committee still in 2011 and was registered as an invention receiving the decision of the Intellectual Property Committee to issue him a license. The idea was also submitted to the World Intellectual Property Organization, which considered this idea patentable and confirmed that such an invention is missing abroad. Professor Araqelyan mentioned they also informed the Armenian Government about this invention, but there was no response so far.
