A new thermal power plant with 250 MW capacity will be constructed in the area of Yerevan City. On 13 November, Acting Minister for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Garegin Baghramyan, CEO Giovanni Rubini of Renco Company and CEO of “ArmPower” Company signed relevant agreements.
The investment program is 250 million USD. The station will be constructed within 26 months and the electricity price will be the lowest as compared with other thermal power stations, 27.4 AMD for kWph. 1000-1200 people will be involved in the construction and 230 working places will emerge. The construction of the plant is planned after financial summaries.
