RA Nature Protection Ministry has proceeded with preparing a response to the letter submitted by Daranak residents, Gegharkounik Region.
Reminder: The residents of Daranak residential area in Geghamasar Community, Gegharkounik Region, have dispatched a letter to Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan with 42 signatures with a request to stop the operation of 'Daranak' SHPP as the irrigation and drinking water springs have dried out and the village is getting derelict. The copy of this letter has been sent to RA Nature Protection Minister Erik Grigoryan.
Press Secretary of RA Nature Protection Ministry Armen Vardanyan informed EcoLur that they have received and registered the letter and it will be responded in the set procedure in 5 days.
