RA Environment Ministry has issued a water use permit for the construction of “Varder” SHHP in the administrative area of ​​Ijevan town in Tavush Region, on the Aghstev River: the water use permit has been issued to 'Vardan Ordinyan' LLC with a term of 22 January 2021, as the Ministry informs in response to EcoLur's inquiry. At the same time, the Ministry informs that it has rejected to issue a water use permit for the construction of "Hors-1" SHPP in the administrative area of Vayots Dzor Region, as the water intake was envisaged to be carried out in the zone of Taratun River flow formation.
