Tariff Set by Committee Doesn't Refer to Independent Solar Stations

The tariff set by the Public Service Regulatory Committee refers only to the stations with up to 1 MW capacity. According to Hayk Harutyunyan, Deputy Minister for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources, it doesn’t refer to independent station with up to 150 kW capacity installed by natural and legal entities to meet their own needs. Their tariff is regulated with RA Law on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, which says that after meeting their needs, excessive electricity may be sold to electricity distribution networks in the amount of 50% of the tariff in force. According to Hayk Harutyunyan, the tariff set by the Public Service Regulatory Committee makes up 42.6 AMD without VAT approved on 16 November.
