In 2021, over 1 million willow and poplar seedlings were planted on the banks of 10 rivers flowing into Lake Sevan. The littoral areas of the lake were cleaned of solid household waste, as Environment Ministry informs.
In particular, 375,043 kg of waste was collected and 1107 kg of recyclable waste, put of which 869 kg of plastic and 238 kg of glass waste was transported to recycling stations. The works were carried out in 25 settlements of the region.
