Within four years the specially protected areas of Armenia received 400 million of extra-budgetary funding from the Caucasus Nature Fund. The funds were allotted to “Khosrov Forest”, “Shikahogh” and “Erebuni” State Reserves, “Arevik”, “Arpi Litch” and “Dilijan” National Parks to increase the efficiency of their conservation, paying extra salaries to the staff in charge of the conservation and technical re-equipment.
In 2010 the Caucasus Nature Fund allotted 53.6 million AMD, 92.8 million AMD in 2011, 91.4 million AMD in 2012 and 182.7 million AMD in 2013.
