Alarm Signal from Ijevan Forests: Tree Massacre Continuing

The alarm signals on massive tree felling continue being beaten. The Pan-Armenian Environmental Front public initiative has received another alarm signal and photos from Tavush Region, which says there are numerous illegal tree fellings in Ijevan Forestry Enterprise of “ArmForest” SNCO. It has been mentioned many times, if efficient measures are not taken in preservation and recovery of the forests in Armenia, our people will eye witness drastic reduction of forest-covered areas in a couple of decades with unpredictable environmental consequences.
