

The State Revenue Committee has published the list of 1000 largest taxpayers in 2020. The list includes 9 companies are entitled to develop metal mines. The largest taxpayer in the mining sector is Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine CJSC, which operates Qajaran Copper and Molybdenum Mine, which held the third place in the top ten after "Grand Tobacco" (paid 50,671,032,000 AMD) and "Gazprom Armenia" (paid 45,548,610,000 AMD): Qajaran Copper and Molybdenum Mine paid taxes equivalent to 41,689,281,000 AMD.
The 4th place was held by "GeoProMining Gold" LLC, which operates Sotq gold mine, with a tax payment of 23,019,732,000 million AMD.
Teghut Company, which operates Teghout copper-molybdenum mine, is ranked 42nd with taxes of 3,743,649,000 AMD.
Lydian Armenia, which has the right to develop Amulsar gold-bearing quartzite deposit, paid 3,033,127,000 AMD, ranking 56th. Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine CJSC, which operates Agarak copper and molybdenum mine, paid 1,585,702,000 AMD, thus ranking 117th.
Chaarat Kapan Company, which operates Shahumyan polymetallic and gold mine, paid 1,530,345,000 AMD, thus ranking 122nd. The 340th place was held by "Akhtala Mining and Processing Plant" CJSC operating Shamlugh copper mine, paying 516,264,000 AMD. Meghradzor Gold LLC, which operates Meghradzor gold mine, paid 338,145,000 AMD, ranking 504th. Litchkvaz Company, which operates Litchkvaz Tea Gold Mine, paid 183,503,000 AMD, ranking 873rd.
