At the meeting with the representatives of the Armenian community in Vladivostok, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan informed that he instructed to find new investors for the mines that were once opened, then left undeveloped, to have these mines developed with their support.
"There are mines in Armenia that were once opened, developed a bit, and left incomplete. Now I have instructed that as many open, incomplete mines that are not being developed, find new investors and have them developed with their support.
The largest enterprise in Armenia is Zangezur copper-molybdenum combine, 20 years ago the factory was expropriated, until then it was completely state-owned. Now our government took measures, and today Armenia owns 21 percent of that factory. Moreover, I think 20-25 percent is enough, anyway, the private sector will work better," the Prime Minister said.
According to Pashinyan, RA government has good partners with whom it is working to make the plant operations more efficient.
