

12.5% of the shares of "Lydian Armenia" CJSC have been transferred to the Government of Armenia, as reported byRA Ministry of Economy.
On December 27, a signing ceremony for the agreement took place at the Ministry of Economy. The agreement was signed by Gevorg Papoyan, Minister of Economy, on behalf of the Armenian Government, and Hayk Aloyan, Director of "Lydian Armenia" CJSC.
"The project has already attracted an investment of $500 million USD, and an additional $250 million USD is planned. It will create approximately 1,000 new jobs," the press release stated.
According to Minister Gevorg Papoyan, the signing of this agreement signifies the successful completion of all stages, following extensive and detailed work. He emphasized that all risks and raised concerns have been thoroughly addressed.
Attached to the press release is the Government of Armenia’s Decision No. 81-A dated January 18, 2024, titled "On Accepting Shares as a Donation."
