ZCMC's Statement Regarding Employees' Protest

"Zangezour Copper-Molybdenum Combine" (ZCMC) CJSC issued a statement on February 6, 2025, regarding the employees' protest that began on January 31.

The company’s statement reads as follows: "Today, on February 6, 2025, a working meeting was held headed by the Company’s General Director. Over the past few days, the Company's employees have attempted three times to resume operations, but they were unable to restart production due to threats of retaliation, physical interference, and movement restrictions by a small group (about 70 individuals). The company has filed three reports regarding criminal actions.

Some of the individuals hindering the company's operations have no affiliation with the company, are not the company employees, and do not even come from Qajaran or Kapan communities.

The company will revise the planned changes to the salary program to ensure progressive, transparent, fair, and comprehensive solutions for renumeration."
