The geological prospecting works in Hrazdan iron mine have been recommenced, which caused great concerns to Hrazdan residents. “Healthy Hrazdan” initiative group has addressed a letter to Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan in this regard, which particularly says that the representatives of Fortune Resources Company haven’t presented any permitting documents, while the territorial environmental inspection refused to respond to the initiative’s alarm signals. “We are waiting for you to keep your promises that any activities will be excluded before all the procedures prescribed by the law will be performed towards it. We would also like you to present explanations in regard with the lawfulness of the recommenced works,” the letter says.
