“Sagamar” Gold Mining Company has increased its production outputs of Armanis mining combine up to 800,000 per year, as the website www.globalmetals.am says. So far Armanis mining combine up processed 500-600 tons per year. The reserves of Armanis gold mine make up about 18 million tons containing Au 0.9 g/t, Ag 10 g/t, Cu 0.9 %, Zn 2.2%, Pb 1.0 %. The website also says that the company obliges to ensure the protection of all environmental components such air and water basin, subsoil, flora and fauna, as well as cultural and historical sites. At the same time Stepanavan Aarhus Center beat alarm signals several times that the combine dumps industrial tails to the Dzoraget River, which the residents use to irrigate their orchards.
