Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine intends to mine ore under the church dating back to XV-XVI centuries. Under Bazilik church (XV-XVI centuries) about 2,995,000 tons of ore is available, which contain 0.237% copper and 0.028% molybdenum.

This information is mentioned in the draft project of Agarak open mine expansion. This combine has obliged to pay US $ 400,000 to the state budget for the transfer of the church to Agarak town.
