On 8 November the government approved the decision on translating the safety requirements to the new power unit into English. The document lays down the principles of ensuring the safety, assessments, classification of equipment in the viewpoint of safety, management of radioactive wastes, works connected with the fuel, radiation safety, preparedness to probable breakdowns etc. According to the government, the requirements comply with international approaches to ensuring the safety.
