At the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Armenia held on December 19, Styopa Safaryan, a political scientist, Head of Armenian Institute of International and Security Affairs, was unanimously appointed as Chair of Public Council.
RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has nominated Styopa Safaryan for the post.
Former Chair of Public Council Vazgen Manukyan announced about his resignation on November 13, noting that he considers his activities useless under these circumstances.
