On January 7, the firefighters rescued and extinguished fires in grasslands that covered an area of about 6.3 hectares, as the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.
On January 7, the National Crisis Management Center of Ministry of Emergency Situations received 4 alarm signals of fires covering about 200 square meters and more in various grassland areas of the country. Particularly, in the village of Karaberd, Lori Region, 6 hectares were burnt. The other three fires broke out in Syunik Region covering 400 square meters of Meghri Town, 300 square meters of Kapan Town and 2000 square meters of Lernadzor Village.
