On August 24, at 19:48, Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center received an alarm signal that a fire had broken out in the territory of "Khosrov Forest" state reserve.
According to preliminary data, about 1 hectare of vegetation is burning. The fire was isolated at 23:28. 44 employees of the rescue service, 100 residents of Garni community headed by the head of the community, 50 employees of "Khosrov Forest" state reserve headed by the director took part in the firefighting works. 4 employees and 7 fire-rescuers of "Khosrov Forest" state reserve have been on duty, as RA Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.
