On January 31, at the meeting of Presidium of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, Avetis Tsaturyan, who was the acting director of the center, was unanimously elected director of "ArmBiotechnology" Scientific-Production Center of NAS RA.
Avetis Tsaturyan is a member of Scientific Council "ArmBiotechnology" SPC of NAS RA and that of "Biotechnology Armenian Association", teaches at the Department of Pharmacochemistry of the Institute of Pharmacy of Yerevan State University.
President of NAS RA, Academician Ashot Saghyan mentioned, "Avetis Tsaturyan has proved that he is an organized manager. During his time at the center, he was able to resolve all issues at a high level."
