South Mine LLC intends to re-evaluate mineral reserves in Tkhkut section of Aygedzor copper-molybdenum mine in Syunik Region. On April 19, 2022, at 15:00 public hearings on site resource reassessment of Tkhkut section of Aygedzor copper-molybdenum mine in Syunik Region for 2022-2025 envisaged by "South Mine" LLC will be held in Meghri Community Municipality (Armenia, Syuniq Region, Meghri, Z. Andranik 2). Meghri Municipality issued a statement emphasizing that no impact on the environment is expected during the planned activities.
It should be noted that Tatstun LLC had the right to use the entrails of Tkhkut site of Aygedzor copper-molybdenum mine until 2020, which was terminated. The right to use the entrails of the other central part of Aygedzor belongs to "Aktiv Lernagorts" LLC.
