As Result of Blast at Surmalu Concentrations of Dust and Nitrogen Dioxide Beyond Permissible Levels Observed in Yerevan

As a result of the blast at "Surmalu" shopping center, the concentrations of dust and nitrogen dioxide in the atmospheric air exceeded the norm by 1.4-4.2 and 1.5-1.6 times in Shengavit and Kentron administrative districts of Yerevan on August 14-15 respectively, as "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" SNCO of Environment Ministry informs.

Reminder: in the case of the blast that took place in "Surmalu", Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee is taking urgent and large-scale investigative and procedural actions to find out the circumstances of the blast. As reported by RA Investigative Committee, the actions are being carried out within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated under Article 357 (2) and Article 358(2) of RA Criminal Code.
