Within 9 months of 2014 9525 accidents happened in Armenia, as a result of which 445 people died and 6702 people injured. Hovhannes Khangeldyan, head of the Crisis Management Center of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations said about this at the press conference on November 25. According to Hovhannes Khangeldyan this year was unprecedented by the number of strong winds and the damage caused. 111 strong winds were recorded, while in 2013 there were 39 cases of strong winds. Fires also exceeded the index of 2013. In 2014 3293 fires were recorded, and in 2013 the number of fires was 2662.
