The department of Protection of State Interests of Public Prosecutor’s Office of Armenia has initiated a criminal case against the employees of “ArmForest” SNCO. The basis of the charge is that in 2009 they faked data, which resulted in the embezzlement of huge amount of sums. While the competent bodies which were supposed to control and check the quality and volume of the works carried out, in their turn, didn’t perform their obligations, as a result of which the country incurred damage. The criminal case is initiated according to Article 179 (2(1 and 3)) and Article 308 (1).
