Examination of over 4500 equipment items will be carried in the frames of ANPP operation extension by September 2016. After accomplishing comprehensive examination of the systems, equipment and buildings in the nuclear power plant a technical audit will be carried out, as Energy and Natural Resources Ministry informs.
Reminder: on 5 February the Armenian Government signed a loan agreement with the Government of the Russian Federation to finance the works of extending the operation of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant by 2027, according to which Russia will provide a privileged loan of US $ 270 million and a grant of US $ 30 million.
