The Nature Protection Ministry imposed a fine of 200,000 AMD on the director of “Hakobjanyan ev Galstyan” LLC operating “Shaqi” waterfall for violation of water usage permit requirements. As the Information and Public Relations Department of Nature Protection Ministry informs, as a result of examinations the Ministry has launched the process of reviewing the water usage permit issued to the company.
It should be mentioned that Shaqi waterfall completely gets dry because of “Shaqi” SHPP development, which is recorded in the list of nature monuments protected by Nature Protection Ministry.
