Governmental bodies don’t pay attantion to forest problems which are of strategic significance for Armenia. This is evidenced by the fact that the Government dosen’t finance development of forestry management plans. According to “Armforest” SNCO web site, “Forestries of Yerevan, Aragatsotn, Gyumri, and Hrazdan began drawing up management plans in 2009, but the works stopped in 2010-2011, as the state budget didn’t allocate any further funding.”
