The Executive Alloted 180 Ha Land Area to "Sevan Trout" CJSC for Making Lake Sevan a Fish Farm Without Any Contest

On 4 September the executive reached a resolution to allot 180 ha of land area to “Sevan Trout” CJSC for 25 years with a right to site development without any contest.

The land area is located within the administrative borders of Litchq and Karchaghbyur villages, Gegharkounik Region, in the economic zone of state-owned “Sevan” National Park. These land areas are provided for the recovery of trout reserves and developing fish breeding in Lake Sevan. In 120 ha of Karchaghbyur community young fish farm will be set up with independent water supply from Lake Sevan, and trout processing plant bred in cage nets will be constructed in 60 ha of the administrative area of Litchq community.
