Number of Sevan Supporters Boosting: Regions Joining Fight for Sevan

Lori, Kotayq, Aragatsotn, Shirak, Syunik, Tavush, Vayots Dzor and Ararat Regions have joined “Save Sevan” initiative by “SOS Sevan”, besides Yerevan and Gegharkounik regions. As Yerevan Aarhus Center informs, events on Lake Sevan were held in regional Aarhus centers. On 29 April upon the initiative of Kapan Aarhus center “Sevan Needs Our Help” round table was organized there, where “Meghu”, “Khoustoup”, “Veradartz” youth NGOs joined the fight for Lake Sevan. Upon the initiative of the Aarhus Center in Stepanavan a signature collection was launched in Stepanavan Town, where 19 signatures have already been collected: the signature collection is still in progress. Kotayq-based initiative “Healthy Hrazdan” has expressed its support to this move. It should be mentioned that 1339 signatures have been collected for the survival of Lake Sevan on www.change.org.
