Firefighters and rescuers across different parts of the republic continue carrying out wildfire-extinguishing operations in grassland and vegetated areas. Thanks to their intensive and coordinated efforts, it has been possible to extinguish and isolate numerous fire hotspots, while work continues at full pace in several remaining directions.
As a result of the fires, grass-covered areas have primarily burned, and cases of heat damage to trees have been recorded.
The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs urges community residents to refrain from any burning activities and strictly follow fire-safety regulations.
