ADB Interested in Armenian Garbage

The problem of garbage doesn’t find its solutions in Armenia, and now Asian Development bank is interested in this issue. The Bank is willing to present a garbage recycling strategy. “NGO Forum on ADB” Armenian Coordinator Silva Adamyan is concerned with this issue. “Asian Development Bank has already launched this program. Different organizations in Armenia deal with the problem of garbage recycling. The funds flow not know where, but the problem is not solved. We have met ADB representatives and spoke to them about our concerns, but they didn’t take them into consideration,” said Silva Adamyan in her conversation with EcoLur. It’s not known which stage this program is in.

“It’s still a document, but nobody knows what it is. We can’t find this document either on the bank website or governmental websites. We intend to meet with the bank once again so as to understand what is going on,” Silva Adamyan said.
