Ecolur has published policy briefs titled “Water Resources Management in Yerevan: New Challenges” and “Challenges and Possible Solutions in Waste Management Sector in Yerevan.” The policy briefs were developed within the framework of “New Challenges for Yerevan’s Development and Opportunities to Overcome Them” project implemented with the support of the CEE Bankwatch International Network.
The documents present the existing problems related to water resources and waste management in Yerevan, the policies being pursued, and the responses of the authorities in charge. Based on the analysis conducted as part of the study, Ecolur has developed recommendations, which are included in the policy briefs.
Policy briefs “Water Resources Management in Yerevan: New Challenges” and “Challenges and Possible Solutions in the Waste Management Sector in Yerevan” have been sent to the Yerevan Municipality and to Yerevan Resident Office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
