“Hrazdan Is Informed, Hrazdan Preparing for Implementation of EPR system”: a New Video by EcoLur

A legislative package on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) has been developed. Once adopted, it will make producers and importers of certain products responsible for the sorting, recycling, and safe disposal of waste generated from the sale of those products.

During awareness meetings, the importance of the system was presented, and opinions and recommendations were collected.

EcoLur has produced a new video titled “Hrazdan is informed, Hrazdan is preparing for the implementation of the EPR system,” which highlights awareness activities related to the Extended Producer Responsibility system.

This material was created within the framework of “Waste Policy in Armenia” (WPA) program, funded by Sweden and implemented by the Acopian Center for the Environment of the American University of Armenia, with financial support from Sweden and technical support from AUA.

The views, conclusions, and opinions expressed are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the positions of the program, the American University of Armenia, or the Government of Sweden.
