Yerevan Botanical Garden of Botany Institute of NAS RA after Armen Takhtajyan will have a new irrigation network. It will be built within the framework of “Park of Life” project. In this regard, RA government adopted a relevant decision on August 4.
RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, addressing RA Prime Minister, said, "On July 18, the discussion of "Park of Life" project took place in your place, where, among a number of recommendations, there was a recommendation to provide not only the 35ha area of "Park of Life", but also the 80 ha area of the entire Botanical Garden with the necessary water for irrigation. Within the framework of that assignment, we have now brought a project that proposes to run the water line up to the Botanical Garden, with which, already in the 2nd stage, a suitable network will be laid in the entire Botanical Garden area and it will be supplied with water.
RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan specifically said in this regard, “When we implement the project, it will be of great ecological importance for Yerevan, and it will be of great importance for the organization of community life, as it will become a new method of highlighting the memory of our martyrs, fallen soldiers, brothers, and officers."
