The employees of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body discovered an illegal deep well in Hayanist settlement of Masis consolidated community in Ararat Region.
It was revealed that citizen Z.B. had been illegally extracting water without the appropriate water use permit for the purpose of irrigating fruit trees in the area and for drinking water.
By decision of Head of Ararat Territorial Department of Inspection Body, the operation of the illegal deep well has been suspended.
The offender has been subjected to administrative liability in the amount of 200,000 AMD, as the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body informs.
