On May 20-21 the territory of the Republic (especially Ararat, Armavir and Vayots Dzor Provinces) will be under the impact of powerful cyclone.
In most regions rain with thunderstorm is predicted. In the above mentioned provinces precipitation will be very intense. In separate places hail is predicted. During thunderstorm the wind speed may increase up to 25-30 m/s.
In the Republic
On May 21, 23-24 from time to time in most regions, in the evening of May 22 and 25 in northern regions rain with thunderstorm is predicted, in separate places hail is possible.
Southwest wind speed is 3-8 m/s. During thunderstorm the wind speed will exceed up to 20-25 m/s.
On May 21 the air temperature will fall by 2-3 degrees and then it will not change considerably.
In Yerevan
On May 21, 23-24 from time to time rain with thunderstorm is predicted. In the evening of May 22 and 25 thunderstorm is predicted, in separate places short rain is possible. During thunderstorm the wind speed will exceed up to 18-23 m/s.
