EcoLur
The ecological condition of the Debed River downwards Ayrum is critical. Under the annual report by “Environmental Impact Monitoring Center” SNCO for 2012, high pollution with aluminum was observed in the sections of the Debed River upwards Ayrum Town and near the border: the average annual concentration exceeded MPC up to 15.6 times. The iron concentration in the section upwards Ayrum Town exceeded MPC 1.2 times, while nitrite ion concentration in Debed River exceeded MPC by 2.6 times. Consequently, the aluminum concentration in the river made up 624 mcg/l, nitrite ion – 0.026 mgN/l and iron – 0.3 mcg/l.
Under EcoLur’s Ecological Risk Model, such concentration of aluminum is critical for the Debed River.
