“Forests are just smashed down. These mountains get deprived of trees, only bare slopes remain,” said Vahe Vardoumyan. “Trucks both with number plates and without take away trees. When taking photos I got across with a car with no number plate. When they saw the camera in my hands, they demanded from me to delete all the photos I took in that particular area,” said the activist. (See photos.)
