Nature Protection Ministry of Armenia published the Second National Communication. The First National Communication was published in 1998.
According to the studies of meteorological data, temperature average increase in Armenia made up 0.850C in Armenia in recent 80 years, while the amount of annual precipitation was reduced by 6%, meanwhile these changes have occurred extremely asymmetrically – south-west and central (Ararat Valley) part of the country became drier, meanwhile the amount of precipitation in southern regions and in lake Sevan basin has significantly increased in recent 70 years.
