Armenian Territorial Development Fund (ATDF) is rehabilitating the "Symphony of Stones" natural monument with the help of the World Bank and the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
The 2500-meter section of the road from Garni community, Kotayk Region, to "Symphony of Stones" is being completely reconstructed, as well as the road leading to "Mashtots Hayrapet" church.
The bed of the Azat River has been cleared, and 600 meters along the river have been reinforced with concrete, stone handrails have been built to ensure the safety of tourists. A 700-meter slab was paved with marble limestone in "Symphony of Stones" area. Night lighting network is installed from Garni community to "Symphony of Stones", as well as a WC and a checkpoint are being built.
According to ATDF, 660 million drams were invested in the works, 80% of which was provided by the World Bank and 20% by the Armenian government.
