According to Article 188 of RA Civil Code, 41 out of 131 non-operating fish farms existing in the territory of 12 communities of Ararat Region are voluntary constructions or have such in the fish farming areas, as RA Prosecutor's Office informs.
As a result of the studies, it turned out that a 5-hectare completely arbitrary concrete-stone fish farm was built on a 11.32-hectare agricultural pasture rented from Sis Community, Ararat Region: arbitrary structures were legalized and recognized as community property.
The process of direct purchase of 10.75876 ha of land required for the service and maintenance of the mentioned structures was carried out, as a result of which about 111 million AMD was transferred to the account of the community. Appropriate schemes have been drawn up to legalize the 2,500-square-meter stone-concrete fish farm built on another 25-hectare pasture of agricultural significance located in the territory of Sis Community. In case of legalization, more than 15 million AMD may be paid to the budget of Sis Community.
