May 22 is International Biodiversity Day: What Are New Species Identified by Armenian Scientists

On May 22, a number of countries celebrated International Biodiversity Day. The theme for 2022 is "Building a Common Future for All Living Creatures." This year's theme conveys the idea that biodiversity, including the ecosystem approach, nature-based solutions for health, food, water security, and sustainable livelihoods are the foundation on which we can build a better future.
