“The climate in Armenia will undergo huge changes in the course of upcoming several years: temperature increase, precipitation cut, change in riverbeds and lake levels, more hot weather and droughts, landslips and floods. If adaptation measures are not taken urgently, the population of the whole country, their property will not succeed in avoiding serious losses,” this is an extract from a research entitled “Socio-economic impact of climate change in Armenia” drawn up by experts of Stockholm Environment Institute and Tufts University US, namely Elizabeth Stunton, Frank Ackerman and Flavia Resende.
