18 Fishing Nets Removed from Lake Sevan, 200 Whitefish Returned To Lake Alive

As a result of joint control measures carried out by the employees of "Sevan" National Park, Water Patrol Service, and the representatives of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Authority, 18 fishing nets were taken out of the lake in the coastal area of the Shorzha settlement, 200 whitefish species were returned alive as part of the control measures due to the whitefish spawning period, as RA Environment Ministry informs.

Reminder: whitefish hunting is prohibited from November 15 of this year until the official start of the next hunting season.
