The official website of Nature Protection Ministry informs that in regard with the poaching case in “Khosrov Forest” state reserve, Reserve director Varantsov Barseghyan has been dismissed. Nevertheless, under the information EcoLur has, director’s resignation had been planned before activists detected the remainders of killed animals in Kaqavaberd section in Khosrov Forest. That’s why the director was away on holiday in regard with expected resignation, when the case of poaching occurred in reserve (http://ecolur.org/hy/news/biodiversity/khosrov-forest-reserve-director-on-holiday-during-poaching-hunting/4177/. The final solution was made on 28 October and was linked with the poaching case in reserve. We don’t know what the real guilt of those persons is who are allegedly punished now. In case of director’s resignation, he turned out to be a suitable ‘victim’ for public.
