The ordinary wolf hunting season finishes in February, while the shooting of wolves only starts. The Institute of Zoology of National Academy of Sciences informed EcoLur that out of supposed 200 17 fells of killed wolves are currently collected. The conversation with Mamikon Ghasabyan, Head of Laboratory of Zoology of Vertebrate, Institute of Zoology provides space for the fells of killed wolves, while the ad hoc committee of Nature protection Ministry deals with count and payments. After counts, the biomaterial will be provided to the institute for scientific research.
