Environment Ministry issued a positive conclusion to the application for preliminary environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the construction of a forest park in Yerevan Botanical Garden by “Yerevannakhagits” CJSC. Back on July 18, the construction of "Park of Life" dedicated to the memory of the martyrs of all Artsakh wars was discussed in Botanical Garden during the consultation headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Under the project, the area of the park should be 35 ha and have walking and recreation areas, alleys, paths, bicycle paths, and a stepped cascade.
Under the EIA application, a new artificial pond with an area of 4620 square meters is also planned to be built in the park.
